About Etail Labs

San Francisco, March 2010. Etail Labs founders Roger Raman and Shri Harish started working closely with major online retailers and marketplaces. Delivering hundreds of projects for Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Sears, Kelkoo Europe, Google Shopping, Overstock, Shopzilla, and B&H among others, they have learned every aspect of e-commerce. This includes a range of Content projects involving 40 million SKUs, Product Images, and Auto-classification of unstructured feeds from 300,000 sellers. In 2016, Etail set up its offshore e-commerce center in Chennai, India, a few miles away from eBay and Amazon technology centers. ROGER S. RAMAN
Chief Executive Officer

Roger has run global businesses for 24 years with presence across USA, UK, Sweden, France, Switzerland and India. From 2003 to 2009, Roger served as CEO of Turboline LLC based in Michigan-USA. 2010 to today, Roger has been part of E-commerce companies executing large scale e-commerce content projects for retailers and marketplaces in the US, UK, France, Australia, Japan, and UAE. He holds a Masters degree in Management.

SHRI HARISH
President

Shri has led complex e-commerce content projects, auto-classification technology for marketplaces for classification of millions of daily feeds from their sellers, dealing with complex taxonomies for enhancing user experience and developing software products that power E-commerce content. He has been part of such projects from online retail companies like Amazon (USA & UK), Shopzilla, Target.com, Shopping.com, Google Shopping, Kelkoo, Priceminister (Rakutan), and Walmart.com. Shri is an endurance cyclist in multiple countries including France and UK. He holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering and an MBA.

DEEPA NARAYANAN
Managing Partner

Deepa serves as the Managing Partner of Etail Labs. She is responsible for E-commerce Content operations, HR and Finance. Previously, she was into healthcare audits for the Treasury Department, State of Michigan, USA. Prior to that she was working for Chase Bank, Sears Corporation and consulting firms in Michigan. Deepa started her career serving Bank of America. She holds an MBA (Finance) degree from Wayne State University, Michigan-USA,
PGDBM from Loyola College and BS (Physics).

Some E-commerce businesses have special needs. For instance, one of our clients wanted us to develop product explainer videos. For another auto-parts retailer, Etail Labs had to do “fitment” of each of their 330,000 parts to multiple car models mapping make, model, year of the vehicles.
